TitleAerial view over Gympie Road Strathpine, 1965DescriptionThis view, looking east towards the mouth of the Pine River, includes Gympie Road between Bells Pocket Road and Dixon Street and the North Coast Railway from the Samsonvale Road overpass to near the Strathpine Railway Station. Although some suburban development is evident near the left of the photograph, Strathpine was, at this time, still largely a rural community with only a ribbon of development along Gympie Road.
